The German Africa Foundation (DAS) offers a platform for exchange between German and African actors. Hereby, we particularly focus on the parliamentary arena. Within the framework of expert discussions, parliamentary breakfasts and panel discussions, we bring together members of the German Bundestag, ministries and other political decision-makers from Germany and Africa.

With our events, we place current issues relevant to Africa policy in the political arena and provide impulses for German Africa policy. At the same time, we promote the greater involvement of representatives of both the African diplomatic corps and the African diaspora and work to convey a differentiated image of Africa in the political arena and to the German public.

In our Africa Info Hub we collect information, insights and press articles about the African continent and make them available to all those interested in Africa. All of our archives are individually filterable and searchable.

In our Knowledge Archive you will find information on topics, programmes and treaties relevant to Africa policy as well as selected academic articles.

In our Press Review Archive, you will find a collection of our weekly published press review, in which we compile current articles on political developments on the African continent.

The Institution Database of the Africa Info Portal provides an overview of active institutions in the German-African context. Here you will find information on African think tanks, German research institutions, university departments of African studies as well as business associations and networks active on the African continent.
