Alvin Botes, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Africa, visited Germany on the occasion of the Munich Security Conference. In a discussion with representatives from politics, academia and civil society, jointly hosted by the German Africa Foundation and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, he exchanged views on current developments in South Africa, German-South African relations and international cooperation against the backdrop of global challenges and geopolitical tensions.
