Afrikapost aktuell: China’s Africa Strategy
Master Plan or Marshallplan?

Since the beginning of the 2000s, China’s economic and political involvement on the African continent has grown immensely. In 2008 the Asian economic power overtook the USA as Africa’s most important trading partner. With the third Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in 2018, the importance of the African continent for China’s global ambitions was once again underlined.

The new Afrikapost aktuell “China’s Africa Strategy – Master Plan or Marshall Plan?” highlights China’s commitment on the African continent and places it in the context of German Africa policy.
