In memory of Prof. Dr. Franz Ansprenger (Free University of Berlin), who died in 2020, the German Africa Foundation is organising the event “African Studies Meets Practice: Symposium in Memory of Franz Ansprenger” on 6 and 7 September 2021 in cooperation with the “Ansprenger Students”.
The event is intended to honour Prof. Ansprenger’s influential work as a doyen of German African studies and at the same time to address the current state of political science engagement with Africa and to network currently active African researchers with practitioners.
